TA-DAH! THEATRE CO 
BIDDENDEN'S VERY OWN AMATEUR THEATRE GROUP

Feb 2022: Our aim was to do things differently from the ‘norm’; we wanted to ‘stretch’ everybody’s talents to the best they can achieve.

We started Ta-Dah! in February 2022 as an independent amateur theatre club – with no ‘rules and regs’ and no committee. Our aim was to produce quality entertainment for the local community by the local community. Our launch meeting attracted about twenty local people; most of them had no, or little experience ­– but all were enthusiastic for our new venture.

Our debut production, ‘The 39 Steps’ was in June ‘22; we created a 15m wide stage and lined the hall in black velvet curtains. It featured every one of our members and was sold out weeks in advance.
